Children's comments about Kingswood

It’s our last day here at Kingswood and once again our children have been a credit to the school – they’ve been complimented on their manners and attitude - once being described as ‘awesome’. Now it’s time to hear from the children:

"I had a brilliant time - it was the best ever!"

"It was the best trip ever – I managed to jump off from the highest tower."

"I really enjoyed getting muddy it was great fun!"
"I learnt lots of new stuff and it’s the best fun five days that I have had."

"Kingswood is the best thing ever! I can now leap through the sky!"

"I found all the activities fun and sleeping with my mates fun, talking about…….. Also I learnt how to do two different types of rope knots. "

"I thought the zip wire was fun and I am really proud that the instructor thought that I was good at fencing. The seals were really fascinating."

Leap of Faith "I have climbed up to the top of the rock and jumped off a 30 foot pole – and I have been on a boat for the first time."

"I think that I have done really well – the instructor made me a Major in his army during Team Challenge."


"I did well climbing up some of the heights and pushed myself to try my best."

"My favourite activities were Go Karting, Zip wire and abseiling because I really enjoyed them and found them exciting."

"I liked the Go Karting the most, the drifting and skidding! I was really good at the climbing and the Leap of Faith!"

"It was fantastic and fun - I really liked the Go Karts, Zip Wire & Leap of Faith!"

"My favourite activity was Go Karts ­ I was the fastest!"

In the boat "I really enjoyed the Leap of Faith and I leapt with no hands out of the Zip wire!"

"I enjoyed the Zip Wire and on the leap of faith I was really scared but also brave because I still climbed to the top!"

"I really enjoyed the Leap of Faith and I really loved the Zip wire! I was really quick at rock climbing and I liked the Go Karting."

"I really enjoyed going on the zip wire and doing the Leap of Faith."

"I really loved the zip wire ­ I liked the Leap of Faith because it was really high and I never thought that I would do it! I really liked sleeping over with my friends."

"Everything was my favourite but I especially liked the zip wire even though it was really high - I got used to it. The food was really good! The whole thing was a new experience!"

"I enjoyed the Leap of Faith & rock climbing because they were things that I had never experienced before, plus the boat trip because it was really fun to do with my class!"

Cuffley visits

Cuffley Year 4 campingOn arrival at Cuffley, we soon put our stuff into our tents and settled down for lunch. Activity time started with parachute games and ended just before tea with a visit to the pond.
